Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

MANUSCRIPT SUBMISSION

Type-written manuscripts prepared using Microsoft Word should be submitted preferably through Make a submission. Articles may also be submitted to editor.jcp@ammanif.com along with a covering letter by the corresponding author.

Margins: 1 inch on paper size A4

Words Limit:
Review articles- 4500 words abstract through conclusion
Original Research- 3000 words
Brief Reports/ Short communications -1500 words
Main headings should be in uppercase only, 12 font size, times new roman, bold.
Sub-headings should be in lowercase only, 12 font size, times new roman, bold.
Title page A title page should contain
1. Concise and descriptive title of the manuscript. in uppercase only, 12 font size, times new roman, bold.
2. The name(s) and affiliation(s) of the author(s). If co-author(s) are from different organizations, their address (es) too should be mentioned and numbered using superscripted digit after their names.
3. The mailing address, telephone and e-mail address of the corresponding author.
Abstract Each manuscript should contain an abstract of up to 250 words in a structured form, consisting of: Objective, Methods, Results, and Conclusion.
Please include 3-5 keywords.
Introduction It should contain a concise research background and states in separate paragraph the objective(s) of the study.
Materials and methods All important materials used along with their source shall be mentioned. The statistical method and the level of significance chosen shall be clearly stated. All the ethical permission associated in the research work must be specified.
Results This part should reveal the findings of own works.
Discussion It requires the interpretation of the results. No need to repeat the results. There should be logical reasoning and scientific proof with comparison and references those of other studies.
Conclusion Conclude the outcomes in the light of aims of the study.
Tables The concise title of the table (s) should clearly indicate the contents nature and should be cited in the text.
Figures The concise title of the figure (s) should clearly reflect the graphics and should be cited in the text.
Acknowledgements All acknowledgments should be typed in one paragraph directly preceding the reference section.
References Reference in Text:
References should be numbered consecutively in the order in which they are first mentioned in the text. Cite references in manuscript text by Arabic numerals in square brackets and bold.
Reference in List:
Journals: Author(s). Title of Article. Journal name. Volume (Issue), Page numbers, Year.
For Example: Naeem MA, Mahmood A. Production and stability evaluation of modified-release microparticles for the delivery of drug combinations. AAPS PharmSciTech. 11(1), 351-55, 2010.
