Abstract

This current research has examined the impact of these hazardous agents on entomopathogenic fungi and the mechanisms that affect their survival in such conditions as the environment and agricultural fields grow contaminated with numerous anthropogenic compounds, such as pesticides. This review sheds light on entomopathogenic fungi capacity to break down harmful pollutants such as hydrocarbons, alkylphenols, organotin chemicals, synthetic estrogens, and pesticides. These fungi also create a variety of secondary metabolites that could be used as antibacterial agents or in medicine. The usage of entomopathogenic fungi has been undervalued despite their enormous potential in biocontrol procedures because of a lack of knowledge about their capabilities. In this work, we provide the information that is currently known regarding these microbes' other and unusual applications.
